Master’s Degree in the Information and Knowledge Society, Knowledge Economy area, at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). Social and Cultural Anthropology Bachelor’s degree at Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and Statistics Bachelor’s degree at the same university.

Her academic interest lies in the field of health, wellbeing, life satisfaction and job satisfaction in the knowledge society, specifically focusing on an empirical exploration of the relation between knowledge, innovation, quality of life, quality of jobs and happiness. Her work covers a wide range of research questions related to wellbeing and life satisfaction. Drawing on the economics of happiness, she has undertaken studies based on regression analysis to understand the relationship between type of jobs; comparisons, impact of innovation in the workplace, impact of innovation and mobility in higher education, domains-of-life satisfaction and work-life balance conflict.

PhD research focuses on the study of wellbeing, happiness and work-life balance in the knowledge society. More specifically, her research is an empirical exploration on how knowledge work influences the perception of individual’s wellbeing and how job satisfaction matter for the subjective wellbeing, in comparison to other type of workers. ledge, quality of life, quality of jobs, sustainable consumption and happiness.

Before joining the UOC, she had worked in management and consultancy for Cultural institutions (audience development, programs and exhibitions evaluations, Community Outreach).
