The i2TIC director, Dr.Joan Torrent, was interview on ‘Primera Columna’, a TV program of the ‘Canal21’. on 14th November 2011

The new business incubator space was the venue of the conference for entrepreneurs ‘Social Networks’, organized by UOC (the Open University of Catalonia). The sessions were aimed at highlighting the potential new entrepreneurs through Internet Social Networks, and are part of the activities promoted by the UOC to support entrepreneurship. During the interview on ‘Primera Columna’ program, the director of i2TIC, Joan Torrent, said the map of Catalan microenterprises is experiencing serious problems due to lack of funding, lack of training and lack of innovation. However, Torrent emphasised that thanks to new communication technologies and social networks, small and medium enterprises have at their disposal a powerful instrument.
